Goldcrest

A tiny, delicate species that holds the title of Britain's smallest bird. The goldcrest can be difficult to spot due to its size and tendency to hide among the foliage of mature trees.

Learning to recognise their high-pitched call will help you find them. In Didsbury Park, they have been spotted in the conifer tree behind the Didsbury Neighbourhood Centre.
