Volunteering in Didsbury, South Manchester

FoDP Volunteers number about 30 and are at the heart of improvements to the Park. Without them much of what has been achieved would not have been possible, whether it be, gardening, litter picking or something else, its the Volunteers that do the work, FoDP just organises, plans and tries to ensure that; tools, protective clothing and other resources for the job are on hand when needed.

If you would like to give up a few hours a week then we would like to hear from you. There's no money in it of course, just satisfaction, a fantastic community spirit, the opportunity to meet new faces and plenty of fresh air. In exchange, we offer you; a great welcome, a cup of tea and (sometimes), a piece of homemade cake.

What do I need to do to get involved?

Just turn up. We meet every Monday morning at the park at 9.30am.
