Friends of Didsbury Park is a registered charity, number 1179064 and supported by:
Unfortunately, MCC has withdrawn from the 'Green Flag' award scheme. However, those who visit the park will know that, despite the foregoing, it more than meets the green flag standards of excellence.
Didsbury Park is situated within easy walking distance of the many shops, restaurants, pubs, cafes, and offices that make up Didsbury village.
The park, which is pictured on the right as viewed on Google Earth, has always been popular with people of all generations who come to socialise, picnic, exercise, play with their children, walk their dogs or just enjoy the ambiance of the park.
With so many people using the park it was showing signs of wear so in 2003 'Friends of Didsbury Park' was set up to help maintain and improve the park to ensure its continued enjoyment. More information on the Friends can be found on the 'About FoDP' page.
