'Friends of Didsbury Park' (FoDP) was set up in 2003 to help maintain and improve the park which, unlike now, was looking very neglected. FoDP has come a long way since then and has now become a registered charity. Click here to read FoDP's constitution and here for details of the officers and trustees.
The Friends meet quarterly in the Holt Pavilion, here in the park. The Holt Pavilion which also houses a cafe, is home to the local charity:
The Friends are very passionate about the park so if you share this passion and would like to become a friend contact us or come along to a meeting, membership costs just £5.oo per year.
The Friends are significantly strengthened by the 'Volunteers' without whom the park would not be the place it is today and, heartened by the success of the Volunteers, Manchester City Council has stepped up its support.
